In Appeon 2015, you don't need to have the admin right to install the Appeon ActiveX control if you are using Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Safari Web browsers. Yes, Appeon 2015 will support Postgre SQL as "Other" database type. Please be aware that "other" database type is supported in Appeon for J2EE edition, but is not supported in Appeon for .NET edition.
For .net and EAserver, it is application file, for others Application server, for example: JBoss, WebLogic, etc., it is war file.
