Appeon Mobile can deploy and run mobile apps in two ways: 1- Install and run the application via Appeon Workspace Appeon Workspace is a ready-to-use mobile application provided with Appeon Mobile. It is available in both .IPA and .APK formats, and can be distributed via Apple Store, Android Market or your own server. End-users will need to first install Appeon Workspace on their device, and then launch the application from Appeon Workspace. It will be configured to communicate with your Appeon Server, and will only display the applications the user has access rights for. If the application is launched for the first time, Appeon Workspace will automatically download and install it on the device before running it. Appeon Workspace simplifies the deployment process: you don't need to sign up for the iPhone Developer Program or obtain an iPhone Development Certificate, since Appeon Workspace has already been registered. 2 - Install and run the applications stand-alone You would need to sign up for the iPhone Developer Program and obtain an iPhone Development Certificate at a cost of US$99. Then, you would compile the files generated by Appeon Mobile yourself using Xcode. This is a restriction Apple puts on everybody and the Appeon Workspace is the only way around it if you prefer to not compile and sign the app yourself. | |
